CIBS Celebrates Summer at The Boathouse

The final day of an East Coast heat wave on July 8th may have caused a few attendees to break into a sweat, but the new venue certainly didn’t put a damper on the festivities at this summer’s annual Cosmetic Industry Buyers & Suppliers (CIBS) annual luncheon. Traditionally held at Central Park’s Tavern on the Green restaurant, the sale of the property and construction resulted in a relocation of this year’s CIBS event to another Park location—on the lake at The Central Park Boathouse restaurant. More than 720 attendees applauded the venue as they enjoyed great food and drink, networking and conversation—all while taking in the tranquil lake views, complete with rowboats and even a gondola.
